Between cleaning gels, foams, oils and soaps, it is sometimes difficult to know which product to use. The good one face soap must remove impurities and excess sebum without leaving the skin uncomfortable after rinsing.
A face soap can integrate a simple beauty routine, provided you respect your skin type.
The objective remains the same: to find a skin clean and comfortable after rinse.
Our selection of face soaps
My Capris, the easy choice
Made with goat's milk and honey, My Capris contains no perfume or essential oils. This is the soap that I recommend primarily to dry or sensitive skins who are looking for a gentle cleaning, without complicating their routine.
Honey Cameline, without essential oils
Honey Cameline combines honey with the camline oil from my farm. Without essential oils, it offers another option for clean the skin with softness and prefer ingredients of local origin.
Almond Germe de Blé, for its gourmet scent
Wheat Germ almond offers a pleasant foam and sweet almond scent. I recommend it when the skin tolerates perfumed products well. If your face reacts easily, prefer My Capris.
Why use face soap?
Sebum, perspiration and product residues accumulate on the skin surface every day. Cleaning allows you to remove them before applying your care. An effective face cleaner does not need to strip or produce a lot of foam.
Solid soap takes up little space, lasts long if it drys and limits the bottles. It can serve the face and body if its formula suits you.
I make my soaps by cold saponification. This process preserves the naturally produced glycerin. Also added is an overgras: some of the vegetable oils remain unsaponified. This helps to make washing softer than with a classic soap very detergent.
This does not mean that cold soap moisturizes the skin. After washing, a care oil, balm or moisturizing cream can complete the routine if necessary.
How to choose according to your skin type?
For dry and sensitive skin
Dry skin can pull, especially after contact with water or during cold. Sensitive skin can heat, blush or react to certain ingredients. In both cases, selected short composition, overgras soap and, preferably, a formula without perfume or essential oils.
My Capris is the most suitable of this selection to start. But always observe its effect: no product fits everyone in the same way.
For mixed or fat skin
Mixed skins produce more sebum on the area While the cheeks can remain dry. For oily skin as well as for mixed skin, the common mistake is to clean too much or several times a day.
If your cleaner leaves your face tense or rough, it is probably too aggressive or used too often. A soft face soap can be effective without giving this stripping effect.
For skin prone to imperfections
Soap removes impurities on the surface, but does not treat the causes of imperfections on its own. Avoid multiplying assets, scrubs and exfoliating products This accumulation can weaken the skin.
The virtues of milk soap Of goats sometimes exaggerated: this is not dermatological treatment. My Capris remains an interesting cleaner for its fragrance-free formula and sweetness sought after.
How to clean your face with solid soap?
You don't need to rub soap directly on your face:
- Moisten your hands and face with warm water, never too hot.
- Put the soap in your hands.
- Spread the foam over the skin with light movements, without insisting and avoiding the eyes.
- Carefully rinse with clear water.
- Dry your face by stamping it with a clean towel.
- Finish, if necessary, with your usual oil or care.
Once a day, in the evening, often enough. In the morning, a water rinse may be suitable if your skin is dry or reactive. Adapts the frequency to make-up, sweat and feel.
Put your soap on a stand that lets the water drain. Humid, it will soften and melt faster.
The mistakes to avoid in her beauty routine
Do not choose a soap only because it is organic, natural or manufactured with a deemed oil. The origin of the ingredients counts, but the whole formula counts more. An Aleppo soap or rich in olive oil is not automatically suitable for all faces.
Avoid combining exfoliating soap, brush and scrub. Introduce your new cleaner gradually to check what suits you.
My Capris: a simple soap to get back to essentials
I make Mon Capris with goat milk from a nearby farm, local honey and rapeseed oil from my farm. Its formula without perfume and without essential oils meets a concrete need: clean the face and the body without superfluous ingredients.
This goat's milk soap does not promise a perfect complexion or a miracle effect. It simply does what is expected of it: produce a pleasant foam, clean and rinse easily.
If your skin reacts to many products, start with a few nights a week. Comfortable skin after rinsing remains your best spot.
