An overgras soap or soap is enriched with supergreasing agents. The latter form a protective film on the skin. The whims of time, pollution, cosmetics and hygiene products put our skin to the test. The interest of an overgras soap is that the overgrasing agents remain partly on the skin, even after rinsing. It thus leaves a fine protective film on the skin. This provides him with protection against external aggression.

An overgrazing agent, but what is it?

Sugreasing agent? Behind this pompous term simply hides oils, vegetable butters, waxes simply. Some soap shops make the choice of agents very important to ensure high quality soaps. Industrial Soap: Disenchantment

In most cases, industrialists choose hot saponification. This technique is fast. It allows to sell the soap products very quickly. This technique heats fatty bodies (very often palm oil that you find under the name: sodium palmate) to speed up the reaction. The amount of soda is greater than necessary, always to speed up the reaction. The resulting paste must be rinsed so that the soap is not caustic.

At this stage, no overgras on the horizon. Soap is dry. To indicate overgras on their soap, it is then that the industrialer adds an overgrazing agent. It is usually shea butter or sweet almond oil added in very small quantities, because expensive. Industrial soap then contains a tiny portion of supergreasing agents between 1 to 3%, unlike cold saponified soap, which naturally contains 6 to 8%.

They are also soaps called Bondillon Soap. The Bondillon is a soap shaving made without adding overgras. It then passes into an extruder where it is added the agent of overgras. This gives super regular soaps, which allows you to easily recognize it.
